The book , Super Brain, by Deepak Chopra, M.D. and Rudolph E. Tanzi, Ph.D is a great read if you truly want to have a better understanding of how our brains work. It is quite interesting and revealing as it helps one to be more “aware,” especially when it comes to stress, our decisions and our behaviors.

A 2014 nutritional discovery for me-  Grain Brain, by David Perlmutter, MD.  “The Surprising Truth About Wheat, Carbs, and Sugar- Your Brain’s Silent Killers.”  Yes, it is informative and  it connects to stress because much of our stress develops from how our brain processes and perceives situations and we want it to be sharp and healthy right? Also, what we choose to eat is at times a response to stressful situations, in which case we need to know what those food choices are doing once they enter our body systems and re-think our choices during those times. Yes, it involves your brain, the almighty “NOGGIN” that you have only one of, so take care of it, learn about and get a grip of it.
